Manual.to

Context

Manual.to is a platform to create attractive, multi-lingual manuals in minutes.
The platform was very barebones and needed a redesign, while maintaining current functionality. Which feature rich, it was clunky and hard to use, and that was my main focus.

I worked with a UI designer that defined colors, components and general look and feel.

This was my first ever project as a UX designer, so I learned a lot on the job on this one. It’s still a project I am very proud of, and I am thankful to have been taught the craft in such a cool product and team.

Discovery

Went to visit the biggest customers back then, like Volvo and Samsung, to mostly discover their pains.
At that point I was not yet versed on discovery and user flow methods, so I mostly winged it 😀

My Library – Basic skeleton of elements and actions on the screen: side bar, search, create new, view folders, manage folders.

Create Manual – Skeleton of manual creation. Special attention to adding multiple languages for parallel editing, rich text editing, and a right side bar to insert media.
